1. Return Policy

We offer a 4-Day Easy Return Policy on eligible products.

Return Conditions :

  • Return request must be raised within 4 days of delivery
  • Product must be unused, undamaged, and in original condition
  • Original packaging, accessories, tags, manuals, and invoice must be included
  • Product should not show signs of wear, use, or tampering

⚠️ Returns that do not meet these conditions may be rejected.


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Customized or made-to-order products
  • Perishable goods
  • Personal care, hygiene, or intimate-use items
  • Products marked as Non-Returnable on the product page
  • Free gifts or promotional items
  • Products cannot be returned simply due to a change of mind. Once you place an order and receive the product, it is not possible to return the item just because you changed your mind.

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, contact us within 4 days of delivery:

Please share:

  • Order ID
  • Reason for return
  • Clear images or an unboxing video (mandatory for damaged/defective items)

Unauthorized or self-shipped returns will not be accepted.


4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Product

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect product:

  • Inform us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share clear images or an unboxing video as proof

After verification, we may offer:

  • Replacement, or
  • Refund (if replacement is not available)

5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are initiated after return pickup and quality verification
  • Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days after approval

Refund Mode:

  • Prepaid orders: Refund to original payment method
  • COD orders: Refund via bank transfer or store credit

⚠️ Shipping charges, COD charges, and convenience fees (if any) are non-refundable.
⚠️ Refund timelines may vary depending on banks or payment providers.


6. Replacement Policy

  • Replacements are applicable only for damaged, defective, or incorrect products
  • Requests must be raised within 4 days of delivery
  • Replacement is subject to product availability
  • Only one replacement is allowed per order

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch only
  • Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled
  • If a prepaid order is cancelled before dispatch, the refund will be processed within 5–7 business days

8. Cash on Delivery (COD) – Special Conditions

  • COD is available on selected products and locations only
  • Orders refused at delivery or returned due to non-acceptance (RTO) may:
    • Not be eligible for refund, and/or
    • Result in COD being disabled for future orders
  • Smartecarts reserves the right to approve or reject COD orders

9. Inspection & Approval

  • All returned products are inspected upon receipt 
  • Refunds or replacements are approved only after quality checks
  • Minor color variations or packaging differences are not considered defects

10. Role of Smartecarts

   Smartecarts acts as a facilitator between customers and third-party         suppliers.
   All returns, refunds, and replacements are subject to supplier approval         and logistics feasibility.


11. Changes to This Policy

  Smartecarts reserves the right to update or modify this Return & Refund      Policy at any time.
  Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.
